IN LOS ANGELES

“Who in the world made your travel arrangements Toni, nobody flies at 6:30 in the damn morning?”

“Well I did Travis,” They were sitting in Travis’s suite at the hotel in downtown LA. She’d handed him the print out of her itinerary.

“Do you mind honey?” he handed the sheet to Kyle, “See if you can’t do a better job of this, get her out around ten or so.”

“Will do, I got a car and driver for the time you’re here Travis so if you want to go anywhere let me know I’ll get him here.”

“Thanks Kyle, I appreciate that, where’s Tee?”

“In his room playing with the Wii.”

“We got a meeting when?”

“9:30 in the morning.”

“So I got nothing doing tonight?”

“Nope, I thought I might take Tee to a ballgame if that’s okay?”

“Oh he’d love that Kyle.”

“You need me for anything else, you goin’ out?”

“I don’t think so, I think we’ll order in and just stay tucked up in this room tonight. That all right with you honey, if you want to go out we can.”

“No, I really don’t,” Toni sat with her feet tucked up on the sofa mesmerized by him.

Kyle picked up his briefcase and left them alone. “I’m glad you didn’t want to go out, I’d like to spend this time with you, just you and nobody else.” He came over to the sofa and lifted her chin and kissed her.”

“And we need showers.”

“Yes we do and we have this big king sized bed to explore together. Toni I’m so glad you got on the plane with me, what if we’d missed each other in the airport. It’s meant to be honey, I believe that.”

“I believe in fate Travis and I think mine’s with you.”
