“Shall We Go?”
She’d received the invitation a few days earlier in the mail and placed it on
the fridge, hoping Sid would notice. There was to be yet another wedding here in
the Glen – this time it was Andy and Lucy’s turn at the alter.
Kate had met them both of them and was friendly with them somewhat, but
wasn't really what you'd call friends with either. No matter, though, she still
hoped to attend their wedding. Kate loved weddings, loved dressing up for them
and socializing with the other residents.
Seemed like lately that was the only was she actual got to spend time with the people of the Glen - at the many weddings that took place there in town. This morning, Sunday, in fact, when Sid hadn't mentioned attending the wedding to her, she took the card off the fridge and carried it into the living room, where he sat listening to his music.
"Sid," she said, hesitantly, "I was wondering if perhaps we might attend
church services this morning." She handed the invitation to him and waited for
his response.
He read the card then looked up at her, his brow cocked. "Mean a lot to you,
Katherine?" He'd been pretty much by himself, except for Katherine, of
course, since the cook-out at what's-name's. Perhaps it was time to go mingle
with the electorate again. "It's all right with me, if you you'd like to go."
Damn, looked like he'd have to sit through another of that nearly-fried pastor's
sermons again. Oh, well. Sacrifices must be made...sometimes...for the greater
good.
"Not especially," she said, softly, as she sat down next to him. "Would just
be nice to get out and mingle with the community, I guess. Oh, and show off one
of the fabulous dresses you've bought me, of course. I'll be outgrowing most of
them quite soon...would like to get some wear in them while I still can."
He would, most definitely, like to see her all dolled up before she began to
resemble a Beluga whale. "I think that's a splendid idea," he
rejoined, handing the card back to her, not wishing to hold extraneous fibrous
material. "Do you have a particular outfit in mind, or would you prefer to
surprise me?"
She smiled, thought a moment. "I have one in mind, but yeah, I'd like it to
be a surprise... one you can unwrap, later, if you like," she purred, then stood
up to head upstairs to change. "I'll just be a little while getting ready.
Thanks, Sid, this will be...fun."
Yes, unwrapping her, especially in her current form, was always a delight. After
she left, though, he frowned, wondering just HOW gross she would actually
become. He had no real idea how he might feel about that. Pregnant women had
never been on his list of to-do's. Oh, well, he wouldn't think about that now.
Time to spiff himself up. Not that he really NEEDED spiffing. He was always
dressed to ultimate perfection, but still...he'd give his wardrobe a look-see
while Katherine was in the shower. No, he shouldn't have thought of her in the
shower. Now he'd have to join her. Have to? He grinned and started up the
stairs, unbuttoning his shirt as he went.
"We'll take a fast car," he murmured, lathering both his hands. "Not that I
would own a slow car." He moved her in front of him, her butt tucked
against his hips and proceeded to soap her breasts. "Some things, however, are
best done slowly."
"Mmm... yes, that they are," Kate replied, breathlessly, as she gave in to
her husband's sudden desires. Once he had thoroughly soaped and re-soaped every
single inch of her, she returned the favor, forgetting all about the reason she
got into the shower to begin with.
Clasping her wet hand, he dragged it down the fogged shower glass with his own
hand. Quite like Titanic. He liked that movie, especially
when the falling passenger boinked off the gigantic propeller. Licking his way
up her squeaky-clean long neck, he whispered in her ear, "Time to make yourself
beautiful for me."
Not that she wasn't beautiful with the rivulets of water making little
pathways down her luscious curves, but it was time for her to clothe herself in
a way to please him, in a way that he would later find even more pleasure in
removing from her form. He was a man who knew exactly what he liked. He
was also a man who deserved to have everything he liked, when he
liked it.
Kate stepped out of the shower, slowly toweled herself off as Sid watched, and headed into her immense walk-in closet just off the bathroom and teasingly shut the door behind her. Unfortunately, after evaluating the dress she'd had in mind to wear today, she realized there was no way she'd be able to pull it off - not with her little bit of a tummy that had already begun to protrude (though slight as it was). She sighed, then began rummaging through her enormous collection of designer gowns, finally choosing one she thought both Sid would admire as well as hide her newly developed poochy stomach.
After applying make-up and styling her long, wavy chestnut locks, she slipped
on her dress and and headed downstairs, where she found Sid waiting on her.
"Well, how do I look? Think I could upstage the bride today?" she asked,
doing a little twirl in front of him.
She was adorned in purple...yes! And the low-cut bodice revealed black beneath
it as though her bra were showing a bit. Perhaps it was. It was hard to tell
nowadays. Overall, the dress was very suggestive, obviously meant to be
suggestive.
"I'm not sure, Katherine, I can make it through a service with you in that."
He walked in a complete circle around her." No one will even notice there is a
bride in the room, my lovely."
His finger traced deeply down into her cleavage. He didn't want to lose this,
didn't like at all the idea of her shape expanding into some fecund mound.
Well, she would have to satisfy him a lot before then.
"Come," he said, "we don't want to keep our public waiting."
Kate smiled brightly and took Sid's hand as he led her down to the garage. He
had apparently decided ahead of time exactly which car they'd take that morning
to the church, because his stride was quick and purposeful as they made their
way through the line of cars until finally stopping at one of the more expensive
models in his vast collection. Sid was like that, Kate noted – he always seemed
to know exactly what he wanted.
"Nice choice," Kate commented, as he opened passenger-side door for her and
she slid into the plush leather seat.
