"Settling In"

"Oh…My…God!" Kate exclaimed, as she ran leapt out of the car and ran up to their new house. Colin grinned, casually slid out from the driver’s side of the car and followed her up the steps. "Is this really ours? All ours?" she asked, giddily bouncing around the front porch and peeking through the windows.

"Sure is, Luv," replied Colin, as he came up behind her and wrap his arms around her body and nuzzled her neck.

"I mean, I saw the pictures of it online, but I never in my wildest dreams imagined it would be so…so…so…big!" Kate exclaimed, turning to face Colin.

He chuckled and kissed her on the forehead. "Do you want to go inside, Luv, or just hang about here on the front porch a while longer?"

"Inside, of course!"

Colin grinned, pulled out the house-keys, and then unlocked the front door. "After you," he told Kate, motioning for her to enter the house.

Kate smiled at him, and then teased, "Oh, so you’re not even going to carry me over the threshold? What kind of romantic are you?"

"Well, let’s get inside and I’ll show you, Sweetheart," he replied, grinning ear-to-ear, as he quickly scooped her off of her feet and up into his arms and carried her into the house – shutting the door behind him with one foot.

Colin made his way through the darkened house, still holding Kate in his arms, giggling all the while.

"Colin…wait!" she giggled, pretending to try and wiggle free from him. "Where are you taking me?"

Colin pulled her face close to his and whispered in her ear, "Where would you like me to take you, Luv?"

Kate giggled again, as he began to kiss her on the neck. "Colin, wait," she told him, teasing him again by holding out her hand to stop him from opening the bedroom door, "Shouldn’t we bring the luggage in first?"

Colin looked at her, grinned, "Umm…that’d be a no." He giggled again, opened the door and flung Kate onto the bed.

"Good thing the movers got here with our furniture before us, or that would have REALLY hurt!" she chuckled, sliding up the bed to make room for Colin.

He hurriedly pulled off his shirt, kicked off his boots and dove into the bed next to Kate, rolling his body on top of hers and kissing her face and neck. Kate giggled and rolled him around so she was sitting on top - straddling him. "You’re in a bit of a hurry, now aren’t you?" she teased, pinning his wrists down on the bed and holding him there.

A mischievous grin spread across Colin’s face. "Well….yeah," he chuckled. "It was a long drive, Luv…and it could take all night to christen every room in this big house of ours…"

"Oh, I see….well …" Kate grinned back at him, pulled off her shirt and tossed it aside, "…then, in that case, we’d better get started." She leaned down and gently pressed her lips to his, allowing her tongue to dance around inside his mouth a moment, then worked her way down his neck and torso. Colin let out a slight moan, just as she reached his waistline, and she stopped and looked up at him. "Yeah, I think you’re right," she said, grinning ear-to-ear, "the luggage can wait ‘til morning."
