Dark Day Tripper?

The old car trundled down the road and slowed pulling over to the side and stopped. A tall young man got out and walked around his long coat blowing around him in the breeze.
The young woman opened her door, “what are we stopping out here for there’s nothing here?”
“Yeah, that’s what I like about it, it’s pure and clean, unspoiled.” He leaned against the car taking deep breaths of the fresh air.”
“I thought we were going to the beach?” she whined
“Shut up and get back in the car.” He turned a menacing look toward her. He wanted the silence not her mouth. He stood there for some time with his eyes closed listening to nothing but the distant birds and the wind in the trees.

Richie Roberts and Sheriff John Biebe were standing outside the Tavern talking. John watched the car pull over across the road and stop, the two occupants got out and headed toward them.
“What the hell is this?” he said quietly to Richie
Richie turned and narrowed his eyes, “skinhead.” He answered
As the young man neared his eyes zeroed in on Richie’s neck and then raised to look at his face, a look of hatred burned in his eyes and he jostled Richie as he passed on into the pub.
“Hey watch your manners,” Richie called after him and felt for the pendant Toni had given him.
“Son of a bitch,” said John and he turned to follow the two into the pub.

Two beers were placed in front of the odd looking couple by Andy who gave John a look when he came though the door.
“I think you better finish your beer and be on your way.” John said looking the young man over.
He never acknowledged the Sheriff but continued to drink his beer.
“I said…”
“I heard what you said.”
“Who are you anyway, you don’t live around here?”
“How do you know that, I might be living just up the road.”
“I am acquainted with the residents of this town and I’m asking you to leave.”
The man got up from the stool and turned a hateful look toward the Sheriff and strode off toward the door.
“Wait up Hando,” called the skinny blond running after him.
