Hando's Bad Move

by Atonia, B and Marie

I thought we weren’t going to the wedding." said Marce pulling on a multi colored skirt.

You thought wrong, something I want to see. He said buttoning up his red shirt.

They left the house and Marce walked to his car, We aint taking the car, get your bike out.

"In a skirt? Hando!"

"Tuck it in or something, I dont want my car in town today, too  many people around."

"What difference would that make?" she asked

"Just get the bike okay?"

Marce parked her bike up the street and they walked down to the wedding site. Passing by Richies office she stopped. "Oh my god, look Hando how
awful."

Hando stopped for a moment and glanced at the building. "Come on." He placed his hand in the middle of her back and pressed her forward.

They entered the wedding site and instead of finding a seat he hung back near a hedgerow pulling her along side of him. He watched Richie and Jim walk down the isle and smirked.

Sheriff Biebe was standing across from the hedgerow by a row of chairs keeping an eye on things. You never knew who might try and crash a wedding. He saw Hando and Marce over by the hedgerow and began trying to get the attention of Siobhan. He didn't want to cause a disturbance so he waited until after
the vows were spoken before making his move. Hando was caught up in watching the wedding and all the guests seated in the chairs and didn't see it coming.

He must have been pretty secure. After all he did see the sheriff and Siobhan there but they never gave them a second look during the entire ceremony.

It was John's plan to do whatever he could to keep this arrest out of the view of the public. By no means did he want to make a scene at the ceremony or the reception. In fact if they didn't get a chance to   arrest Hando that day, they’d get him another but if they did get the chance they wouldn't let it
slip by.

It was well after the ceremony when John saw Hando go into the boardinghouse. Maybe he had to use the loo or something but that may be the right place to get this guy without making a big scene. The girl he was with was right on his heels when John nodded to Siobhan.  When the deputy was by his side they walked away from the crowd to follow Hando and his girl. They passed by Steve who was fetching a case of bubbly and when he asked what was going on John

just asked him to go outside and keep everyone else out there if possible.

Siobhan moved first, grabbing Hando's girl by the arm. "Come with me, honey." she said. Before the girl had a chance to say anything, John moved in on Hando. He was in the hallway of the pub just outside of the loo when John nabbed him. He was cuffed before he knew what hit him.

"What are you doing here, pal? After what you did to Roberts’s office, you should be ashamed to show your butt ugly face. You're under arrest. You have the right to remain silent and I'd suggest you exercise that right or I’ll increase  the charges from vandalism to resisting arrest."

Hando was taken by surprise and pulled back against Johns hand on his arm.

He felt the cuffs go around his wrists. "You aint got nothing on me" he spat out glaring at John. "I don’t even know what you’re talking about.

Marce turned back looking over her shoulder as she was taken toward the  door  of the boarding house. "Hando." she cried.

"Shut up" was his reply

"Be nice." John gave the links between the bracelets a little tug. He led him toward the back door where Siobhan would meet him with the prowler.

"Size forty three Doc Marten boots, eh?  Smart ass like you should have thought to cover your tracks. I think I see a bit of paint on those soles too. Why would you do something like that? Why would you spray that stuff on Roberts building? We don’t put up with that around here.  It's a peaceful town and it’s going to stay that way."  John was on guard with Hando. He didn't trust him as far as he could throw him. "I figure you'll be moving on once you get
what's coming to you."

"I aint sprayed a building" he tried to pull out of Johns grip. "You can't tell me where I can live nobody can. I got as much right to live here as you do. Let her go, let Marce go she aint nobody."

"She's in good hands. Don't worry about her. You just worry about yourself. You're innocent until proven guilty but I can hold you for seventy two hours and believe me when I tell you. I've got evidence.  You're going to need a lawyer."  Grasping onto one of the bracelets, he tightened it a little just to get the big skinhead to stop squirming.

He spotted Bud White waiting for him at the back door. Enlisting the  assistance of the big cop was a plan just in case Hando got out of  line. Once they got the perp into the prowler everything would be back to normal and Bud would return to Marie's side.

Hando tightened up his whole body like a spring. This was bullshit that cop didn't have nothing. Fuck if he'd just get in the car, he launched toward the Sheriff knocking him into the fender of the prowler.

Bud saw the tattooed shitbird strong arm the Sheriff.  He launched himself toward him, crushing him to the ground.  One harsh punch to the nose and the blood started to flow.  Fucking pansy.  He bled like a stuffed pig.

"Sonovabitch.  You bled on my new suit, you Hitler loving asshole."  Bud's enormous fist connected again with Hando's face.  His blood was up now.

"Alright, alright, alright, knock it off White or I'll put you in jail too." John ordered. He picked Hando up and easily put the broken man into the back of the car now. "I'm gonna need to call paramedics for him. Shit."

Bud glared at him but he stepped away. Meanwhile, Siobhan was holding Marce back.

"Honey, you don't need to be hooked up with that kind of man. Believe me I'm talking from experience." the Deputy admitted. Thank goodness there was not an audience to this melee.

Marce was in tears, "you don't know him...he's not really like this, he's not. Not with me." She wanted to go to him he was bleeding, "let me go."

Siobhan felt kind of bad for the younger woman. She eased her grip a little as the prowler pulled away. "Don't worry about him. John will see to it that he gets the attention he needs. Give it an hour or so and I'll get you in to see him. You'll see. He'll be okay."

Once the car was out of range she let the girl go. "I'm Siobhan. I'll get you a cup of coffee and see if we can work on your judgement a little. Girl, that bald headed man has more that tats on him him, He has trouble written all over him."
