Andy Makes a Donation

The first copies of The Glen Times arrived at Millie’s Boarding House and one of the first to pick up a copy was Andy. He carried it back to the kitchen and made himself a pot of coffee, it was still early yet too early for the front page news. Mill Fire caught his eye immediately and he sat down at the worktable and read the article. Reverend Harris…it had only been a couple of days since the wedding…how could something like this happen to him. It upset Andy and as he went about his morning routine getting everything ready for breakfast he kept thinking of Alistair.

A little later on he fished out a large pickle jar and with a magic marker made a little sign that said ‘For Alistair Harris and Ahnna’ pasted it on the jar with tape and took it out to the tavern and placed it on the bar. Andy didn’t know what they might need money for but it always helped in any situation. Digging in his pocket he came up with a twenty…that should start it off he thought.
