Kyle Takes Care
Kyle Corvin had been standing back watching the crowd at the church. He liked The Glen and the people, you could tell about people. By in large they were a peaceful happy group. On the surface you wouldn’t think Travis needed him but then there had been that guy at the funeral. You could never be too careful.
He’d become more to Travis than just a bodyguard, he made phone calls, arranged for trips doing whatever needed doing at the time. Travis was pretty easygoing most of the time but he had a temper and Kyle was aware of that sometimes Travis needed saving from himself. Travis had caught his eye.
"What’s up?" Kyle asked walking to his side.
"Do you need anything from the house?"
"Uh no, what have you got in mind?"
"Sydney…when we leave from here."
"Right…I’ll get us a flight might be a helicopter if nothing else is going."
"I don’t give a damn what it is as long as it damn well flies," Travis responded with a twinkle in his eye.
"Gotcha," Kyle said grinning. Travis was going to Jan which meant he would have a little time of his own at his flat. He pulled out his phone and started making arrangements to get them to Sydney.
Kyle had family in Sydney, his parents still lived there but he had no serious attachments anywhere. He was very careful that way. He wouldn’t be able to do his job which paid very well if he did. So casual relationships were the way he lived. Once he got to Sydney he might call one of those casual ladies for the evening.
A few minutes later he caught Travis’s eye and winked nodding that everything was taken care of.
