Unsatisfactory Delivery
Jim took his tux jacket off on the way to the car and threw it into the back seat. "Did Ian say how much damage was done?" he asked as he started the car. "No, he just said that we need to come." A few minutes later they arrived at the grocery only to hear yelling coming from the back room.
Jim pushed his way through the doors ahead of Ivy. The driver fell silent as soon as he saw him. Ivy came in behind Jim. "What kind of damage are we talking about here?" she asked. The driver continued to stand where he was and watch Jim. Ian walked with Ivy to the dock door. One side of the frame was torn away from the building and hanging in a mass of splintered wood and twisted metal. "There is no way we can get the door back down. Ivy I think the guys has been drinking. Maybe we should call the sheriff."
The driver having overheard Ian’s conversation began to yell. "Hey who the hell are you? All you gotta do is sign you got your delivery and fill out the damage report and then you let me on my way. Shit happens, get used it!" he spat. Removing her cell phone from her purse Ivy dialed a number. "Hello. This is Ivy Braddock. I think I need someone over here at the grocery."
As she uttered the last few words the driver lunged, knocking Ivy down as he made towards the door. He never knew what hit him as Jim tackled him from behind.
