Only Talking Sense

"Ivy you’re going to make yourself really sick if you continue like this. You have to take some time off." Ian knew his niece was stubborn but someone had to talk some sense to her. "Ivy you have a beautiful house and a husband who loves you. You need to make time for your life. The store just opened and you look like your about to collapse."
Ivy looked at her uncle. "How can I do that? I can’t expect you to run this place by yourself."
"Ivy, are you listening to yourself? This is a small grocery, you aren’t alone and you can ask for help. Ivy I watch you everyday coming in and your tired. I have also noticed your consumption of ginger candy has reached new heights." Ivy looked down at the floor and remained silent. "I know you use it for nausea so you have to admit something is going on. James spoke with me. He is worried about you. That is why he put the ad in the paper, not because he doesn’t have faith in you."
Sitting down on a crate Ivy began to cry. "I don’t want to worry anyone. But I am tired. I haven’t felt well for weeks. I thought it would pass… do you really think it would help if we hired someone?"
"Ivy, I think it will help. If you were feeling better you would see that for yourself. When someone applies I promise to let you interview them. I also think that you need to take some time off now. I’ll call James and have him come pick you up."
